image-about

This is me, our boy and my wife.

I was born and raised until the age of fourteen in a small village from Botoșani county alongside goats, chickens and other animals.

I got my first PC in 2007 who only had 128MB of RAM and a big monitor which could almost break a table. During that period I learned a lot about computers by breaking my own several times per month.

Fast forward a few years when I moved to the nearest city (Botosani) for high-school I've discovered the Internet and Photoshop. Like everyone else at the time I started to download a lot of brushes, fonts and other assets just to mess around with them offline because I didn't have an internet connection at home. Nothing too serious until I decided to sell items on GraphicRiver to make some bucks and I think that it was 2012 when my career as a designer officially started without me knowing it.

Got my first job as a Graphic Designer in a printing house where I learned so much about print and prepress techniques but also about the relationship with the clients because I was in direct contact with them.

Eight years later I became what I am today, a marketing and product designer working with clients from all over the world from small startups to big corporations working in an agile agency environment, creating digital products which involved creating user flows, low and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, research, as well as polished designs and articulating UX/UI tradeoffs.

When I'm not designing I like to spend time with my family, travel, read non-fiction, interview people at Remote Makers and to play table tennis.
